Keeping Loved Ones in Touch

I have an Aunt who is 99 years old and is a resident of a nursing home. Her wonderful family came up with a …

simple idea to help her stay in touch with our large extended family.

At her recent 99th birthday celebration her family gave out blank notecards matched with stamped envelopes that was addressed to her. This was in hopes that the family would write to her and stay in touch. What a wonderful way to help her stay connected to her family and the world!

Another way to help a family member or friend stay connected is by sending out his or her new address on a postcard or in a letter to other family or friends. In your postcard or letter say how much any correspondence would mean to your loved one.

I have no doubt that family members will write to my aunt and will continue to write her!
