Indoor Activities to do with an Older Family Member

Here is a list of indoor activities to do with an older family member or friend, especially useful during the cold winter months.

Depending on your loved ones situation, some activities may be independent while others may require assistance. Consider including children in the activities when possible.

  • Using a computer or tablet

  • Watching TV programs of interest

  • Baking, cooking, or looking at recipes
  • Hobbies or crafting such as crocheting, woodworking, embroidery, painting, etc…
