Making simple Halloween candy bags is a fun and creative activity! Here’s an easy guide to making them:

Materials Needed:

• Small paper or plastic bags (bags like lunch sacks work well or clear/colored plastic bags
• Halloween stickers, stamps, markers, decals, or Halloween stamps and stamp pads
• ribbon or string for tying bags
• Assorted candies
• Halloween trinkets like spiders, ghosts, pencils, etc.

Directions:

1. Decorate the bags. If you’re using brown lunch sacks, cut the tops of the bags down if you wish with decorative scissors. Place a Halloween sticker or decal on the side of each bag or use markers or Halloween stamps. If you’re using plastic bags, you may also decorate with decals or stickers.
2. Include things like spooky messages or names.
3. Choose your candy and trinkets and add them to each bag.
4. Tie the bags with ribbon or string. If you are using paper bags you will need to use a hole punch to tie the top together. If you wish you can even tie a Halloween bag tag to the top of each one.
